Our Lighthouse Charity Shops both on your local high street and online help to promote a more ethical, sustainable way to shop and re-use pre-loved goods.

Our charity shops are not only supporting and making a difference to the lives of children, young people and families, but also provide people in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, with the opportunity to recycle and reuse their unwanted items and make a difference to the environment.

Buying pre-loved goods prevents perfectly usable items from going in to landfill and gives them a new lease of life and make a positive difference to the UK’s carbon footprint, by reducing CO₂. During 2025, we offset over 1.6 million kilograms of donations from landfill, and saved more than 20.5 kilograms of CO₂ emissions from entering the atmosphere.
