Exploring Faith

We believe that it is important to provide a safe and inclusive environment, where children have the opportunity to learn the importance of faith, explore their spirituality and experience God.

The Quest Team can provide assistance in school lessons, workshops and clubs, providing opportunities to apply faith in practical and creative ways and helped them to see how the Christian faith is relevant to their daily lives, as well as supporting children to foster and develop positive relationships with others based on biblical principles.

Lunchtime Clubs

Lunchtime clubs are FREE 30-40 minute outdoor programmes suitable for infant and junior children, which aim to give space for the children to explore and see the awe and wonder of the natural world through the environment around them.

This is achieved through crafts, creative prayer and storytelling to investigate what the Bible has to say about God’s character, Jesus’ life and the Holy Spirit.

Lunchtime clubs meet during term time in a variety of schools in and around Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

We invite schools to donate towards resources to enable the successful delivery of these clubs.

After School Clubs

After School Clubs are a weekly term-time Christian after school club where, through games, crafts, Bible stories, quizzes, music and creative prayer we aim to learn about Jesus and the Christian faith.

After School Clubs are staffed by Valley CiDS children’s workers and volunteers from local churches. All staff and volunteers have full enhanced DBS certificates.
