Ethos, Values & Outcomes

With the ethos of "Raising Aspirations, Releasing Potential", Blend Youth Project aims to provide spaces, supportive relationships and opportunities in which young people experience our core values of Belonging, Hope, Value, Compassionate Care & Inclusion and where they can enjoy activities and access services designed to improve their leisure time opportunities, promote their health & quality of life, reduce their risk of getting involved in alcohol/drug misuse, crime & anti-social behaviour and promote their economic well-being.

Young people have access to a range of activities and support services including daily drop-in provision, cookery/healthy-eating workshops, sexual health and relationships advice drop-ins, music lessons, counselling provision, traversing wall sessions and art workshops.

We also work closely with a range of local agencies and schools in providing mentoring support, alternative education projects and personal development programmes for young people who are facing difficulties or barriers to succeeding in mainstream education.
