On Bank Holiday Easter Monday, fifteen brave volunteers entrusted their lives to a piece of rope and abseiled off the 90ft Millers Dale Bridge to raise money for Valley CIDS.

We would like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to Andrew; Donna; Rob; Elena; Karen; Siobhan; Yvonne; Peter; Andrew; Richard; Stephen; Amelia; Brian; Andy; and Kevin for all of their courage on the day, and for their hard work fundraising.

We would also like to thank Steve and Angie at Dolomite Training (www.dolomitetraining.co.uk) for making sure that everyone was safe and that we didn't leave anyone floating down the stream, and to all of the people who turned out to support our abseilers, the crowd made the day even more fun!

Watch this space for details of how much was raised (we're just waiting for final sponsorship money to come in)...
