The other day, a regular customer at the Lighthouse Charity Shop in Buxton decided she had to speak up...

She said that it was the nicest charity shop in Buxton, always welcoming, and that she could guarantee she was going to get a chat and a friendly smile.

She used to go to other charity shops in the area, but after her treatment she felt that the friendliness, help and support was no longer recognisable, but that the staff and volunteers at Lighthouse Charity Shop had stepped up to the mark. It is the social interaction she enjoys most from visiting the shop on Eagle Parade, not to mention the great choices that are on offer.

Tracy, the manager of the shop said that it's always nice knowing that we are helping other and can brighten up someone's day.
